COUNTER-SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT
A look at the equipment at SPY WORLD
These are photographs from our store. They give you a closer look at the equipment we work with and a starting point for questions about a sweep or a detector. The tools selected for an inspection depend on the space and the agreed work.

A photograph doesn’t tell you everything a detector can check. Ask about the purpose and limits of the equipment selected for your inspection.
What do you need checked?
Home bug detection
Tell us which rooms or areas you’re concerned about and what led you to request a check. We can discuss an inspection for possible hidden cameras, microphones or other surveillance devices, with access arranged by someone authorized to provide it.
Office bug sweeps
For an office, start with the areas that need attention: a meeting room, a private workspace or another part of the premises. Discuss access and scheduling with SPY WORLD so the inspection can be planned around the space.
Vehicle bug sweeps
If you want a car or another vehicle checked, let us know the vehicle type and whether your concern involves a possible GPS tracker, microphone or camera. Confirm where the inspection will take place and the access needed when you book.
What a debugging consultation can cover
You don’t need to arrive with a technical diagnosis. Describe what you noticed, and we can discuss what an inspection can reasonably cover.
| Your concern | What to discuss | A useful question |
|---|---|---|
| Hidden cameras | A check for possible concealed cameras in the agreed areas. | Which rooms, objects or parts of the vehicle are included? |
| Microphones and listening devices | A review for possible audio surveillance devices, according to the inspection requirements. | What can the proposed equipment and inspection check? |
| GPS trackers | A vehicle or other relevant inspection for possible tracking devices. | What access is needed, and are there areas that cannot be checked? |
| RF signals | Radio-frequency checks when relevant to the environment. | How will readings be assessed before any conclusion is reached? |
| Detection equipment | Guidance if you want to compare a bug detector with an inspection service. | What would I be checking myself, and what would a service cover? |
Agree on the scope for your case. Not every inspection uses the same equipment or includes the same checks.
Before you book a bug sweep
Tell us what you noticed
You can start with a simple description: where the concern is, when you first noticed it and what you want checked. Separate anything you’ve actually seen from what you suspect. That gives us a clearer starting point.
Describe the space
Is it one room, a whole office or a vehicle? Mention anything that could affect access. The inspection needs to be planned for that setting, rather than treated as the same job every time.
Agree on the work
Before booking, ask which areas are included, which checks are proposed and what falls outside the service. If you need written findings, raise that during the consultation so the team can confirm what can be provided.
Ask what happens afterward
You’ll want to understand what was checked and what any findings mean. Ask how the results will be explained and whether anything might need a separate review. An inspection should not be presented as a promise to find every possible device.

Arrange an inspection only for a space or vehicle you own or are authorized to have checked. Make sure access is agreed with the appropriate person. A concern about surveillance is a reason to discuss a check, not proof that a hidden device is present.
Keep questions about the equipment separate from legal questions about access, privacy or evidence. SPY WORLD can discuss the technical service; a legal professional can advise on your particular circumstances.
Questions about debugging services in Miami
What does “debugging” mean here?
Here, debugging means checking for possible electronic surveillance devices. It is often called bug sweeping and falls within technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM). It does not mean repairing software or removing insects.
Can SPY WORLD check homes, offices and vehicles?
Yes. SPY WORLD offers inspections for these settings and other spaces, depending on the requirements. Contact the team to discuss the location, authorized access and what you want checked.
What can a bug sweep include?
The agreed work may include checks for hidden cameras, microphones, GPS trackers, RF signals and other electronic surveillance devices. The scope and equipment depend on the environment and inspection requirements.
Is buying a bug detector the same as booking a sweep?
They are different options. Buying a detector means selecting a tool and learning how to use and interpret it. A service involves an inspection tailored to the setting, using equipment operated by trained technology professionals. Ask SPY WORLD which option fits your needs.
Does a signal reading prove there is a hidden device?
No. Ordinary equipment also uses radio signals. A reading needs context and assessment before it can support a conclusion about possible surveillance.
Can an inspection guarantee that every hidden device will be found?
No blanket guarantee should be assumed. Ask what the inspection covers, which areas are accessible and what limits apply. The findings relate to the agreed checks and the conditions at the time.
How long will the inspection take?
That needs to be discussed for your case. The size and type of space, access and the agreed checks affect the work. Tell SPY WORLD what needs inspecting so the team can discuss scheduling.
Should I visit the store or call first?
Call or message first to arrange a service. You can also visit SPY WORLD at 96 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, Florida 33134, to discuss equipment and your needs. Confirm the inspection location and arrangements before bringing a vehicle or planning a visit.
